Mosan international stone sculpture residence Program 2026

Mosan art museum international stone sculpture residence, operated by the 
Mosan Art Museum, provides an environment in which artists are able to 
concentrate on their artwork while surrounded by beautiful, tranquil nature. 
Mosan Art Museum invite you all to The 24th international stone sculpture 
residence, with great honor. Our goal is to have represented one country 
famous artists from all around the globe to compete through interaction and 
friendship, for each of their own cultural arts in pursuit of world peace.
The organizing committee of Mosan Art Museum aims to hold a successful art 
Residence as well as to work efficiently in order for all our visitors to leave 
with more friend and fond memories of the Residence.1. Program Outline

■ Purpose
» To support artists developing new ideas about art and deepening their 
artistic practice

■ Venue
»Mosan Art Museum, 673-24 Sungjusanro, Sungjumyun, Boryeoncity, 
Chungnam Republic of Korea

■ Application Field
» contemporary art in any visual sculpture field such as stone (Granite or 
 black basalt,etc.

■ Facility
» Bedrooms, Indoor exhibition rooms (Exhibition room 1), Studio 
(indoor/outdoor), open air museum (for outdoor exhibitions), Lounge, 
Kitchen 
» WIFI internet is provided in your room and museum.

■ Stone Sculptor : Mosan Museum will provide to artist basic tools and 
disk. Compressor, air tool. (especially stone can choice the size)

■ Etc. : Other necessary tools are decided after consultation

» Residency period: 1. Octobe ~ 10. November 2026 ,
 (but depend to project, artist can possible to stay 20.November. 2026
Available for minimum 30days up to a maximum 40days)
» Number of artists: around 4 artists
» Maximum number of artists during the same period: Maximum 4 artists

■ Obligations
» Artists must strictly follow the terms and conditions of Mosan art museum 
International Artist in Residence Program.
1) General Program: Individual work (compulsory), Presentation, Open Studio
2) Exhibition (compulsory): Solo or Group
3) Additional Programs: Art workshop, Presentation of artists’ work, 
 Educational program, Connecting program with local residents, 
 Collaboration with others including supporting businesses

■ Conditions
» support: Food, Accommodation, Studio, tools for sculptor, Exhibition 
 flight ticket(Round trip), 2,000 US dolor
» Program support: - Ability to participate in educational programs and activities - Possibility to be recommended to national or international exchange 
 programs - Exhibition PR, banners, and leaflets

 type of residency.
